A l'occasion du 4e Centenaire de la mort de Fray Bernardino de Sahagún, fondateur de l'anthropologie américaine, est mise en relief l'importance d'un texte latin rédigé par Sahagún lui-même à la suite de l'index du livre VI dans le Codex de Florence et qui est très peu connu, voire encore trop souvent pratiquement ignoré. Or ce texte latin apporte un vision d'une rare lucidité sur l'œuvre accomplie et sur l'excellence des textes préhispaniques recueillis par Sahagún. Il confirme aussi définitivement l'identité du manuscrit remis à Rodrigo de Sequera comme étant bien le Codex de Florence. Edition et traduction de ce texte latin essentiel.

La Psalmodia christiana de fray Bernardino de Sahagún es uno de los impresos mexicanos del siglo XVI más cotizados y codiciados por los coleccionistas, pues fue la única obra del franciscano que llegó a la imprenta. Durante el siglo XIX se consideraba que sólo existía un ejemplar, en poder de don Joaquín García Icazbalceta y, poco a poco, se fueron encontrando otros ejemplares; sin embargo, no todos los que han sido catalogados como la Psalmodia tienen el texto original y verdadero. En este artículo se hablará de una de esas "falsificaciones" a partir de la comparación filológica de los textos.

The lnstitute «Bernardino de Sahagún», of the High Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), was the main official center for research in anthropology and ethnology during the Franco periord. This paper analyzes the main lines of enquiry laid clown by its director J. Pérez de Barradas, and the political and ideological constrains that led CSIC's cultural anthropology to a deadlock. ; El Instituto «Bernardino de Sahagún», perteneciente al Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), fue el principal centro oficial de investigación en antropología y etnología durante buena parte de la etapa franquista. En el presente artículo se estudian las líneas de investigación potenciadas por su director, J. Pérez de Barradas, y los condicionantes políticos e ideológicos que limitaron su actividad y condujeron a un estancamiento de la antropología cultural en el seno del CSIC.
